Magic Circle School

Learning Rooms

Learning Rooms

At Magic Circle School, we offer a safe, nurturing environment for children between ages of six weeks and five years. We are a New York State Office of Children and Family Services licensed childcare and NAEYC accredited center.

Children love to play rhythmic instruments during music classes and programs.

Magic Circle School has dedicated programs for early education for all age groups. Our specialized learning rooms offer wholesome development for a growing child.

Infant Room

We have dedicated our infant room for developing a sense of self, social relations, creative representation, movement, and sensory-motor development among infants. We focus on infant children between the ages six weeks and 18 months, to inculcate logic, communication, and language development skills. We aim to make children explore the environment.

Toddler Room

Our toddler room has children between the ages 18 months and three years. We encourage physical and social-emotional development. Emphasis is on language development and skill building, besides improving listening, negotiating and conceptual thinking that is integral to the child’s growth.

Preschool Room

We take pride in introducing the Creative Curriculum. Children between three and four years love to learn. The room builds a base for the child’s conceptual understanding of the world around them.

Our Preschool room involves learning how to interact and relate with others, including understanding emotions. We help them develop relationships with other students and staff through classroom centers and play time. This helps students build their social-emotional skills along with cognitive development.

Meagher Before & After School Program

The Meagher Before & After School program provides more than just childcare. The program offers exposure to many different activities. This is an opportunity for your child to try something new or learn more about something they already enjoy. It is our goal to provide a safe and fun recreational experience to all participating children while allowing enrichment.

Each day, the children are dismissed from their classroom directly to the program or dropped off by their guardian, where they start with thirty minutes of free play followed by a 45 minute special activity period. We follow it by a snack and quiet time until 4:15.

Another unique activity period is scheduled ending at 5:30, and while waiting to end their day, the children have many choices for free play.
